Questionnaire survey on tourism at the Goczałkowice reservoir

In framework of ZiZOZap project, NILU Polska team together with Silesian University students in last week of August conducted questionnaire survey concerning tourist exploatation of Goczałkowice reservoir.

Cyclists, roller skaters and hikers using top of dam as well as anglers and sailors were polled. Survey should give answers what are main reasons of stay at reservoir, lacks for tourists and knowledge about Natura 2000 areas. Results of survey will help in further enabling of Goczałkowice reservoir for rekreacji. It is necessary to keep in mind limits resulting from reservoir function as drink water basin for Upper Silesia region.
